Michael Bennett, Branch Learning Coordinator, for PCS Salford Branch became involved with the Climbing Frame website when his branch signed up to the pilot.

Michael said:

“The functionality around the Learner Management section is easy to use and makes it quick to set up a new learner or amend existing details. In regards to data protection issues, the Climbing Frame allows consistency when recording learner information. The Learning Themes work well in an interactive situation when discussing the type of learning that is required. The ability to quickly access and print out relevant information is a benefit to both ULRs and learners.

Learners that have used the Climbing Frame website, like the split between Work, Career and Personal Goals and seeing this information on screen allows learners the opportunity to explore various areas such as; future learning ambitions and personal development goals. The system is easy to access which helps when working with learners on their goals and objectives.

Overall ULRs have found the Climbing Frame easy to use and something they consider to be part of their ULR toolkit.”
